... serving one another in love
Support a School
We presently have 6 primary schools and there is an opportunity for a church or group to sponsor a school and community. We are very grateful that Asbury U.M Church in Raleigh is sponsoring the Sous Raille School. Child Care International in Canada is sponsoring the Kaobel school. Other rural schools are available for sponsorship as well.
Support a School Student
We have sponsorship photos of students at our Tarasse and Poteau primary schools that are available for sponsorship at $20 a month. 100% of these funds are sent to Haiti to assist in paying the teachers, school supplies and provide a nutritious lunch.
Support a School Lunch Program
We partner with Stop Hunger Now that has donated a container of food to us for the past four years. We pay the cost of shipping and customs in Haiti which is typically $8,000. We also purchase over $1,500 of local produce each month to supplement the SHN food.
Support a Library
HHH libraries need your support! Many books are needed to fill our shelves. In addition, we would like to find resources where we can obtain used laptops for use in the library, as well as the start of a computer training lab.
Support our Church Programs
Our churches are very involved with youth programs, summer camps and an adult literacy program. Our church youth also receive assistance for their high school and university tuition. Funding to subsidize these programs would be of great benefit including the opportunity to purchase Bibles, song books and devotional materials.
Support a Child at the Home
Living at the children’s home allows over 70 youth to rise above their destitute situations by having a safe Christian environment to call home. Our goal is to find 5 sponsors for each youth at $25/month. Correspondence, prayer, visiting and building a relationship between sponsor and child is encouraged.
Schools, churches and other buildings need to be built.
We have drilled many wells over the years and also provided water filtering systems. New opportunities continue to exist as funds are available.
When disaster strikes Haiti, our local churches distribute and assist those in need with the funds that are received.
